Hello all, I was absent for a brief period of time due to i was on international travel, I tend to not announce this to my viewers or really anyone due to security concerns and privacy as well, But as always i like to talk about my experience, and how i improve my privacy abroad.

Reject, body scanning , set boundries.

Look it's very simple, when i am leaving the US and as long as i can (for now) I reject the body scanning and any facial scanning. I show up for my flight very early anyways just in case that it raises suspicion. If you are unaware, you can reject these invasive technologies for "safety" an opt for a physical pat down. while it may be uncomftorble at first , you get use to opting out of these. I think setting boundries are healthy and the more people that do it will set a big fuck you to TSA and the survalliance tech that is labeled as "for safety" and conveniance.

GrapheneOS, best option.

Now I have been using a grapheneos for a while now and I, not only think it's the best option we have for mobile operating system. I, also think it is the best phone to travel with. Not only because it offers the best out of box security and privacy, it has a few key points that i think are beneficial to travelers that i will go over.

Here’s the corrected version:

1. Auto-reboot: here is a list of good attack surface reduction of why it’s important, but the TL;DR is that rebooting your phone is a useful security feature. After a reboot, the phone enters a state called “Before First Unlock,” which is more secure because the encryption keys have not yet been loaded into memory.

2. Charge port control: This feature allows you to place the USB port in charge-only mode or block all connections entirely. This helps protect against physical attacks and unauthorized data transfers.

3. Duress PIN: This allows you to wipe your phone in the event of a seizure, confiscation, or other emergency.

4. Seedvault backups: I would use Seedvault to create a backup, erase the phone before traveling, and restore it once you arrive somewhere safe and are outside of border-control areas.

The list can become exhaustive, so assess your threat model and adjust your security settings accordingly.

Final thoughts.

I would look at ways to use monero or cash if you can.

Switch to GrapheneOS and lock it down.

Reject facial and body scanning , Do not trade your freedom for "convenience "
